Swiss Chicken from the kitchen of Susan Cave in Waldorf, MD

SWISS CHICKEN

Ingredients:

  • 6 chicken cutlets
  • 2 T butter
  • Salt/pepper to taste
  • 2 T Good Seasons Italian dressing (dry dressing mix)

Directions:

  1. Brown chicken in butter, but do not cook it fully.
  2. Put in baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and Good Seasons mix

 

Sauce:

Ingredients:

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (you can use cream of celery or cream of chicken if you want)
  • 6 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
  • ½ cup white wine
  • ½ cup chopped onions
  • Mushrooms (optional)

Directions:

  1. Combine all sauce ingredients
  2. Pour over chicken cutlets
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
