Maybe this would have saved Saturday deliveries. The U.S. Postal Service announced this week that they’re launching a new line of all-weather clothing and accessories.

Expected to launch in 2014, the line will include all-weather jackets, headgear, footwear and special clothing to hold devices such as iPhones and iPods. There was no mention of dog repellent.

Isaac Crawford, CEO of the Wahconah Group, Inc. says the postal clothing with be an "image-conscious, first-class, high-end line." He added that the "Rain Heat & Snow" gear will have a two-sided appeal with one representing the "legacy" and "the romanticism of the postal service." The other will "be innovative" and "something that everyone will be interested in today."
