"Holy, price-tag, Batman!" The Batmobile from the original '60s TV series sold for $4.62-million at an auction over the weekend in Scottsdale, Arizona, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The car that was sold was the first of six supped-up 1955 Lincoln Futuras created for the series.

Yet, that only ties the previous record auction price for a showbiz car. Three years ago, the Aston Martin DB5 that James Bond drove in Goldfinger also raked in $4.6-million.

The man who bought the Batmobile was identified as Rick Champagne, a Tempe, Arizona car collector who runs a logistics company.
