I am one of a select few who can say that I am a local girl. I was born at Georgetown and grew up in Bethesda, MD. I am the youngest of three with two older brothers who also live in the area.
I have been at WASH-FM since 1998 and absolutely love it!! I started out as the Late Night Host from midnight to 5a and after 3 1/2 years was promoted to Middays. The condensed version of my resume includes working at stations in DC, Charleston, SC and Wheeling, WV.
I matriculated from Wheeling Jesuit University with a BA in Professional Writing and a minor in French.

Two high-definition cameras are streaming live video showing clown-like Atlantic puffins waddling, preening and nesting on a remote Maine island.
The Audubon Society and explore.org have teamed up to stream video from Seal Island National Wildlife Refuge. The island has the largest puffin colony in the U.S.
Audubon ornithologist Steve Kress says the video, which went live Wednesday, marks the first time high-definition cameras have been used in North America to stream video of Atlantic puffins.
One camera shows the seabirds on the island's rocky ledges. The other is underground, inside a burrow showing a puffin in her nesting site.
Kress says the goal is to engage the public and spur interest in seabird restoration.
