I'm a native Washingtonian - born in Alexandria and raised in Silver Spring. I hardly attended class at John F. Kennedy High School. Was too busy running the school radio station. (The same one I brought in from my bedroom. My parents got sick of all the loud music.) Anyway, 40+ years later, I'm on the air at my favorite hometown station, 97.1 WASH-FM. I'm blessed to be married to a wonderful New Jersey gurl and have two amazing teenagers that keep me busy and happily frustrated. Thanks for reading AND listening!

I'm probably the most average, normal person with nothing spectacular to impress you. So, what would be the highlights of such a normal existence? How about medium lights? I'm more comfortable with that.

I grew up in Southern California near Los Angeles before moving to the DC area in 2002. The transition from dry heat to humidity was incredibly difficult for me. Most think that dry heat is something people from California made up. Trust me. It's not. But, I'm used to it here now and love my new home of nearly a decade now!

I am a huge animal lover. Currently my four legged family consists of my rescued dog FloBear and five rescued cats being Freddy, Batman, Burr, Brier and Parker. I've also had horses, cows, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and rabbits. Among my animal activities I love watching Bald Eagle and other bird cams. I am constantly searching for the remedy to frizzy hair, easy ways to lose weight, and fat free great tasting foods and comfortably cute shoes! Please, let me know if you have any good tips.
