The world's most colorful holiday was observed Wednesday across India.
Holi, the Hindu festival of colors, marks the coming of spring. To celebrate, people throw colorful powders pretty much all over each other.
You may have seen depictions of Holi in the movies or on TV (for example, in the 2006 movie Outsourced and the subsequent NBC series of the same name).
