Aerosmith's Steven Tyler (at left) and Joe Perry lead the new class of inductees into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. A ceremony in New York on June 13 will also enshrine Mick Jones and Lou Gramm of Foreigner and the co-writer of several Eagles hits, J. D. Souther.

Tony Hatch, who wrote many 1960s tunes for Petula Clark, is also one of the inductees announced Friday.

Then there's another songwriter whose name you may not know - but you surely know her songs. Holly Knight composed several hits for Tina Turner, Pat Benatar's classic Love Is a Battlefield and Animotion's Obsession.
