2022 March of Dimes: Heroines named at Gala in Tysons on November 10th

Toby Knapp, Chilli Amar, and Kala Simmons, from 97.1 WASH FM’s Toby+Chilli in the Morning, partnered with March of Dimes and ASRC Federal to host the 2022 March of Dimes Heroines of Washington Gala last Thursday.

Heroines of Washington, one of the area’s most unique events, recognized women in the D.C. Metro Area for their dedication to community service. The black tie event hosted guests including directors, CEOs and other high-level individuals from local corporations and government agencies all to honor the contributions of this year’s winning women.

The 2022 Heroines of Washington are:

  • Heroine in Real Estate Award Winner: Madi Ford, Managing Partner, Audeo Partners
  • Heroine in Healthcare Award Winner: Monica Granovsky, Teacher, Montessori School of McLean
  • Public Sector Heroine Award Winner: Meredith Hedrick, Teacher & Department Chair, Fairfax County Public Schools
  • Heroine in Technology Award Winner: Roneal Josephs, The MITRE Corporation
  • Professional Services Heroine Award Winner: Debbie Klis, Partner, Rimon P.C
  • Rising Star Heroine: Isabella Wise, Community Service Aid, Montgomery Country Department of Health & Human Services
  • Corporate Heroine Award Winner: Jane Mahaffie, Principal, Stonebridge
  • Lifetime Achievement Heroine Award Winner: Trish Manghelli, Senior Contracts Negotiator, Arcfield

Since 2001 the March of Dimes has honored 135 "heroines" and raised more than $3.8 million to make sure one day all babies are born full term and healthy.
