Don and I will find out the sex of our baby on June 13th. I'm looking forward to knowing what we're having so I can start thinking of baby names and themes for the nursery. I'm not sure if every parent-to-be does this, but we gave our unborn child a NICKNAME pretty early on.
Instead of referring to the baby as "it"...we call it POPPY. I started calling the baby "Poppy" a week after I found out I was expecting. Here's how it happened. I was looking at a website that described the development stage of the fetus. At about four weeks, it's the size of a POPPY SEED. That's how the nickname was born.
So...for the past several months, whenever we talk about the baby, we use the nickname. LOL. I've got to believe Don and I aren't the only ones who've done this. I'd love to hear YOUR nickname for the baby before it was born. Leave it in the comment section below. They will be fun to read! - Chilli Amar
