A new study reveals that if your parnter is slowing his stride, it may mean that he's smitten. Typically, men tend to walk faster than women, but this TIME article reveals that this new study reveals that walking speed is not only determined by physical features, but who the man is walking with, too.
Researchers from Seattle Pacific University in Washington examined the pace that men walked with friends, whether male or female, compared to the pace they walked with their romantic partners. They found that the men would consistently adjust their stride and slow down the pace of their walk while with their lovers.
Biologically speaking, researchers agree that it makes sense, as men are more likely to take on a burden to accommodate their partner.
